As far as all things historic and quintessentially English are concerned, Afternoon Tea is regarded as both an institution and a ritual that has been enjoyed for many years since its creation in 1840. Here at Rushton Hall, we pay this afternoon treat the respect it deserves, and we are delighted to announce that we will now be partnering with the esteemed tea experts Eteaket.
Our latest supplier can certainly be called tea innovators as they are constantly experimenting with tea infusions, flavours and other tea inspired delights. You can find out more about them here.
Choosing them to supply our loose-leaf tea was an easy decision; all their teas are of the highest quality. Ethically sourced and always innovative, you can be sure of a satisfying cup regardless of what flavour you choose – alongside the introduction of our new supplier, from December we will also be serving Oolong and White Tea for the first time.
Given our property’s history and the level of luxury that is synonymous with Rushton Hall, it makes perfect sense for us to serve award-winning loose-leaf tea that has been sourced from around the world.
“It is fantastic that from now on Rushton Hall will only be serving 100% loose leaf. Our afternoon tea varieties are always popular and we are thrilled to be working with Eteaket as we join them on their mission to connect people and create moments through the joy of whole leaf tea.” Says our UK Tea Academy Tea Champion Richard Heaton. “Their tea has won numerous awards and they are committed to charitable initiatives – we are delighted that our tea is now sourced from a provider that is a member of the Ethical Tea Partnership.”
As well as exclusively serving loose leaf tea, we will also be presenting an entirely new patisserie selection alongside our sandwiches and scones should you opt for afternoon tea with us; chocolate and hazelnut opera cake, apple crumble macaroon, yuzu and white chocolate choux bun and pineapple and coconut mousse on a sable biscuit are the new additions we are confident you are going to love.
