The most Traditional Afternoon Tea Northamptonshire has to offer
When visiting Northamptonshire, afternoon tea at Rushton Hall is a must-do.
Afternoon Tea is steeped in history and tradition. Thanks to the increase in popularity of taking a cup of tea in the 19th century, it soon became very fashionable to indulge in a sip of the finest leaves whilst choosing from some delicate treats and sandwiches.
Two Varieties of Afternoon Tea
Rushton Hall is delighted to serve the finest Afternoon Tea in Northamptonshire, so you can experience tradition and finery for yourself. We serve two varieties; Traditional Afternoon Tea and Traditional Champagne Afternoon Tea.
Our Afternoon Tea menu boasts a fantastic offering of scones, clotted cream and preserves as well as a beautiful selection of sandwiches, cakes and patisseries. A pot of tea or coffee tops this delicious culinary experience and a glass of Laurent Perrier Champagne is included in our Traditional Champagne Afternoon Tea offering.
Afternoon Tea Timings
Currently served Monday to Saturday, we request that bookings for your Northamptonshire Afternoon Tea experience be made at 1.30pm, 2.00pm, 3.30pm or 4.00pm. On Sunday booking times are 3.30pm and 4.00pm when available.
Your Afternoon Tea experience will include table availability for 90 minutes. While tables in the Great Hall are suitable for up to 8 guests, larger tables will require private dining.
When you join us for Afternoon Tea, Kettering itself takes on a whole new lease of life. You can explore the area before or after you dine – we recommend doing so prior to your meal as the anticipation will help your appetite.
We request that guests adhere to Rushton Hall’s smart casual dress code in the Great Hall.
