Head to the spa and you can work your muscles and your soul thanks to our outstanding range of gym classes; we offer everything from intense workouts to relaxing yoga.
Classes are available for our members and for residents of the hotel.
The following classes are currently available:
Monday – Legs, Bums & Tums 10.00 am – 11.00 am. Flexercise 11.30 am – 12.00 noon. Ab Attack 17.30 pm-18.00 pm. Body Conditioning 18.15 pm – 19.00 pm
Tuesday – One of the best Yoga classes in Northamptonshire 6.30 pm – 7.30 pm
Wednesday – Circuits 11.15am – 12.00 noon. Legs, Bums & Tums 12.15 – 13.15 pm, HIIT 18.00 pm – 18.45 pm Flexercise 18.45 pm – 19.15 pm
Thursday – Pedal Power 11.15 am – 12.00 noon. Ab Attack 12.15 – 12.45 pm. Pedal Power 18.00 pm – 18.45 pm. HIIT 18.45 pm – 19.30 pm.
Friday – No Classes
Weekday Members – No charge between 10 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday
Full Members – No charge

Body conditioning is a toning focused class. Each week various pieces of equipment will be incorporated to help tone up those frustrating areas. Along to the music, you will squat, press and curl your way to fitness.
This class is not for the faint-hearted. Various stations will challenge you with a mixture of cardiovascular and toning exercises. Even if you are a beginner, this class can work for you – the stations are adaptable to suit your ability so there is no need to worry, as long as you’re up for a challenge.
This indoor cycling class incorporates various cardio and anaerobic drills to deliver a highly effective session that will help burn fat, tone legs and improve fitness. We now offer a beginner’s class using choreographed exercises on bikes to get the heart rate up and motivate you to start burning calories. If you’re looking for a challenge and to push yourself to the next level, we also offer an advanced class for experienced spinners.
This popular form of exercise is best described as movement linked to the breath – yoga can help develop flexibility and whole-body conditioning. All levels are welcome to come along and the sessions will be tailored to your needs. Benefits include: physical fitness, supple strength, core stability, improved posture and mental relaxation.
HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training)
HIIT class is a total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioning workout. This interval-based class combines full-body strength training with high-intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body, improve your endurance and burn fat fast!
Come and join us at the Stableyard Spa for some power walking and you will get to exercise as we walk around the beautiful grounds. We will be doing some fartlek training which is a mixture of light walking that builds into power walking. (May contain steep inclines)
Ab Attack/Core Stability
This is a 30-minute class which will work your abs to the max. It focuses on toning and defining the abs while strengthening the back to improve posture and core strength.
Legs Bums & Tums
This toning class uses a selection of exercises to improve, strengthen, tone and explore any problem areas. Basic exercises from those that involve standing positions to those that require you to lay down are used to blast each area into just the shape you want. You certainly will get out what you put in with this session and the improvements will be clear for all to see.
